Walk-through refers to home buyer’s final inspection of the home that identifies problems that may need to be corrected before closing.

Home buyers will conduct a final walk-through just prior to closing but after the previous owners have moved out. This is to confirm that the home is in the same condition as the day the purchase agreement was signed.

In the walk-through, borrowers typically ensure that the seller has completed any repairs agreed upon in the purchase agreement and that any appliances that seller agreed to remove or leave behind was acted upon.
