Seller Credits also referred to as seller concessions is an agreement between the borrower and the seller in which the seller agrees to pay for certain costs on borrower's behalf at the mortgage closing. Depending on the specific mortgage type and the occupancy type, a seller can contribute anywhere from 0% to 9% of the home’s purchase price or appraised value.
